Ambient Lounge were proud to provide Big Chill Festival punters with some welcome relief from the sun and dancing with our outdoor Chill Out Bean Bag zone within the cathartic Body & Soul area. What a magnificent festival the Big Chill was! All credit to the organisers for getting such a fabulously ecclectic line up of music coupled with graceful visuals - and congratulations must go to the punters for creating such a happy vibe throughout the 3 days.

Our personal highlights were too many to name, but Fink on the Castle Stage were outstanding, Arrested Development gave us some timeless classics and a lot of energy, Norman Jay picked us all up on the Sunday when we were weathering and the Persuasions harmonies and sense of fun belied their age and were matched by their old time counterpart DJ Derek who rocked the 24 hour café! X Press 2 and Coldcut really kicked us into gear on that first night on the main stage and set the scene for three days of forgetting the stresses in our lives and work back home. Special mention must also go to Jose Gonzales and rodrigo y gabriela for their latino magic!

We also thank Avril Stanley and all of the Body and Soul crew for creating a real community feel around the area. Massage therapists, and communal therapists worked hard to provide respite and physical and emotional healing for weary bodies & minds. We hope that our beanbags could contribute to that harmony and state of wellbeing. By the super-positive feedback and the sheer numbers on seats (and the fact that we could never get on one ourselves) the ambient lounge beanbags were a great success.
