Each year, after trick or treating, my kids and I sit on our bean bags and spread out all the candy loot they collected during the course of the night. It is a tradition that I look forward to immensely. It is a time, each year when everyone is present in the moment and as content as can be. The children are in awe of all before them, and I take as many pictures as I can before they remove their treasured costumes.
Still, there has been one thing missing from this event, and that is my husbands active participation at this specific juncture. I mean, he is very involved with getting the little ones dressed in their outfits, and he loves to hear their stories when they come back home. But, he is the one member of our family that does not have his own bean bag. So, this year I have ordered the most luxurious leather bean bag I could find and will present it to him this Halloween. This will improve an already coveted time, and I can barely wait to see his excitement when I give it to him.
